Welcome to AmandaRighetti.net - striving
to be your most complete source online on this wonderful newcomer.
Amanda is probably best known for her roles on TV shows like
The O.C., North Shore or the short-lived Reunion.
Thanks to Annika for the heads-up. CBS has posted the first preview from The Mentalist, Amanda doesn't appear in it, but it gives you an idea on what the show is about.
On Tuesday, NCIS opens the night at 8:00 PM and the hit drama WITHOUT A TRACE moves to 10:00 PM, creating a hammock position for the new drama THE MENTALIST at 9:00 PM. (source)
Upfront week is up to a great start. Congrats to Amanda and the cast and crew of The Mentalist on their pick-up!
CBS didn't quite wait until the eleventh hour to make its new series pickups, which include Jerry Bruckheimer's drama "Eleventh Hour."
On Monday morning, the network also ordered the dramas "The Mentalist," starring Simon Baker; "The Ex List," starring Elizabeth Reaser (formerly "Mythological Ex"); and the John Turteltaub-directed horror-drama "Harper's Island."
On the comedy side, the network went with comedies "Worst Week" and the Jay Mohr starrer "Project Gary" (formerly the untitled Ed Yeager project)
While CBS wouldn't specify what series are picked up for fall and which for midseason, "Harper's Island" -- a serialized story about a group of friends terrorized on an island off the Seattle coast -- is said to be for midseason.
Interestingly, only one of the six new series, "Harper's Island," hails from sister studio CBS Paramount Network.
"Eleventh" and "Mentalist" are from Warner Bros. TV, "Ex" from 20th Century Fox TV and "Project Gary" from ABC Studios.
The last show is now a co-prodution with CBS Par.
CBS' renewals are going down to the wire, with the network yet to make final decision on "The Unit," "Shark," "Moonlight," "Rules of Engagement," "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and ever-overachiever "How I Met Your Mother." (source)
Thanks so much to Amanda's PR team for confirming that Amanda is indeed headlining the Friday the 13th remake. The movie is currently scheduled for a US release on February 13, 2009.
Other projects The Mentalist and Little Big Men are also moving forward as well as Amanda's films Pipeline and Etrain which are both produced by her producing company Bliss Sinema Inc.'s.
Looks like we are in for a great dose of Amanda in the coming months.
In honor of Amanda's 25th birthday, I've uploaded a bunch of gorgeous and previously never before seen pictures of her attending various events from 2005, 2007 and 2008. Be sure to check them out in the gallery.
